The Ministry of Labor and Employment together with partner associations have framed the International Migrants Day Organizing Committee on Tuesday to watch the up and coming International Migrants Day. The Committee with Secretary of the MoLE Laxman Prasad Mainali as its organizer will compose different projects from December 12-18 in relationship with a few associations identified with abroad work. Today's meeting of the Committee has set up particular sub-boards of trustees to lead and supervise projects, for example, rally, attention and mindfulness endeavors among others. The UN part states and those nations signatory to UN traditions identified with transient laborers go in 1990 have been watching the International Migrants Day on December 18 since the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 4, 2004 announced December 18 as the International Migrants Day. Nepal has been denoting this day since 2006 with a target to secure welfare of the Nepali transient specialists abroad who, as indicated by a gauge by the Foreign Employment Promotion Board, remain at more than 3.9 million and working in different outside nations aside from India.
