The murder of Tulu Sarki Thing which occurred on April 16 was kept a mystery by his executioners and the villagers until a couple days prior. Police said Tulu was beaten, smoldered lastly covered alive. Three suspects–Kanchha Shrepa Thing, Lwangbuti Tamang and Chhenurbu Tamang– have been held in association with the episode. The trio was introduced before the media on Saturday. Tulu had been driven out of the town on charge of utilizing "dark enchantment" to execute seven villagers in the past too. Delegate Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abadesh Bista said the villagers had spread Tulu's face with ash, made him wear a shoe wreath and paraded him around the town before showing him out. Tulu, who had been working in Kerung, Rasuwa, taking after his ejection from the town, was cajoled into returning home by Kanchha, one of the suspects. The body has been sent to Kathmandu for examination, DSP Bista said.
