A water bison was killed from an electric stun at western Kusaha – 4 of Sunsari on Thursday.The water bison had strayed into human settlement from the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve for brushing when the episode occurred, local people said. The wild ox came into contact with the live wire set up to secure the crops.The episode site is found five hundred meters east of the Reserve's office, Conservation Official, Shyam Kumar Sah said.A group of veterinary specialists has been called from Saptari area in a joint effort with District Animal Service Office, Sunsari to do an after death examination of the water bison, he included. Sah shared further that the reason for the passing would be resolved simply after the examination.
