In the wake of finishing her A Level Education from Rato Bangala School, she went to USA and joined University of North Alabama for her advanced education from where she got her four year college education in Film Making. In 2007, while she was all the while learning at University of North Alabama, she went ahead to partake in Miss International UNA excellence challenge in which she could reach to the main 5 Finalists. In the wake of finishing her training in 2011, she chose to come back to Nepal and utilize her insight in Nepali film industry.
She got a break in Kollywood from the motion picture 'Mero Best Friend' yet '3 Lovers' was the initially discharged film of Priyanka as the discharge date of Mero Best Friend got delayed. Despite the fact that Mero Best Friend was not a business achievement, Priyanka was selected for Popular Debutant Actor Female in Filmy Khabar Awards 2070.
