Every one said the living youngster was hers. Yet, nobody could tell who was its actual mother. Furthermore, they went to see solomon, the shrewd ruler of the jews.

At the point when lord solomon heard their story, he said, "cut the tyke into two and give every lady one half."

"that is a smart thought," said the dead youngster's mom.

"give her the tyke. Give it a chance to be hers. In any case, don't execute it," said the living youngster's mom.

"give the kid to this lady," said the lord.
